Volunteers can assist in a number of different ways depending on the times they are available and the amount of work they wish to do. Each night is broken into several shifts, each with specific duties. Responsibilities may include: food preparation, meal service, and check-in/baggage check at the shelter.
Volunteers must be 18 or older.
Volunteer Training
Registration costs $20 for in-person, and is free for virtual attendees. This is reserved for people who will be volunteering at VAC Opportunity Campus or who intend to attend all of our upcoming training sessions.
Community Volunteers
We also have a no-cost training option for folks who are curious about VAC Opportunity Campus. or can only attend a few sessions.
