Eligibility
- You must be a resident of the Boone Country at the time of application and at the time of distribution.
- You must have a child 18 years old or younger permanently living at your address. If you are pregnant, the unborn child must be due on, or by, December 31, 2026.
- You must meet our income guidelines: at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines as determined by number of people in a household.
- Children may only be signed up ONCE for the Holiday Program. If more than one person tries to sign up the child, it may DISQUALIFY the family.
Selection Process
- An accepted application does NOT guarantee sponsorship.
- If you are not selected for VAC’s program, you will receive a mailed notification around Thanksgiving. This letter will include information on other local agencies offering holiday programs, along with their sign-up details and timelines.
