Volunteers are instrumental in the success of this event. In 2023, we had 248 volunteers, who gave their time to help with the program. That translated to 1000+ hours donated to VAC that we would otherwise have to hire individuals to help.
Volunteers help collect gifts from sponsors' vehicles, organize, and pack the gifts for the families during collection days. Distribution days are just that, volunteers take the shopping carts full of gifts out to the families and help load their cars. This is often the most rewarding part of the program. The participants are so very grateful for the generosity of our community.
This year's Holiday Program will take place at Broadway Christian Church (2601 W. Broadway, Columbia, MO 65203) December 9th - 14th.
