Back to School Health Fair

Thank you to Derby Ridge Elementary for hosting our 13th annual Back to School Health Fair this year!

The Back-to-School Health Fair, which is held every summer and coordinated by Voluntary Action Center and Family Impact Center helps local K-12 students prepare for the start of the new school year. Students at the fair receive free health screenings, school supplies, backpacks, and much more! The supplies provided include items such as notebooks, crayons, scissors, and pencils. Different sets of supplies are available depending if children are in primary or secondary schools.

This year’s Back-to-School Health Fair was a great success! With donations from many sources, over 700 children received much need supplies and health screenings. Thank you to all our sponsors, vendors, and volunteers!

Thank you to this year’s Sponsors: Cosmo Luncheon Club, Home State Health, Veterans United Foundation, and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Columbia Lodge #207.
