In order to receive services, a client's family income must be under 150% of the Federal Poverty Income guidelines. VAC requires that clients bring these items each time they visit the VAC office:
- some form of identification for everyone living in their household (driver's license, state ID, birth certificates, social security cards, Medicaid cards)
- proof of all income (check stubs, child support check stub or bank statement, food stamps / TANF / printouts from DFS, or a printout from the Social Security office)
- proof of Boone County residence (any mail, recent utility bill, or rental agreement)
