The 2018 Back-to-School Health Fair was held July 28 at Derby Ridge Elementary School!
The Back-to-School Health Fair, which is held every summer and coordinated by Voluntary Action Center, Family Impact Center, and Family Health Center, helps local K-12 students prepare for the start of the new school year. Students at the fair will receive free health screenings, school supplies, backpacks, and much more! The supplies provided include items such as notebooks, crayons, scissors, and pencils. Different sets of supplies are available depending if children are in primary or secondary schools.
This year’s Back-to-School Health Fair was a great success! With donations from many sources, over 800 children received much need supplies and health screenings. Thank you to all our sponsors, vendor, and volunteers!
School supplies are still available at VAC for those who may have missed the Health Fair. Please see page two of our Services Sheet to find out what information is needed to provide services for your address.
