VAC Christmas Sign Up

This year is VAC's 25th annual adopt-a-family Christmas Program!

There are ten days in October that families in need can sign up to receive Christmas assistance. On each day VAC can sign up 80 families. We hand out 80 numbers to the first 80 families in line a half hour before sign up begins each day.

The sign up days are:
October 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 21 and 23 at 9:00 a.m.

If the parent who will be signing up the family works full time and is unable to sign up on the above weekdays, they can come in and sign up on one of the following days:
Wednesday, October 15 and 22 at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 11 at 9:00 a.m.
These three days are ONLY for Full Time Working Parents (more than 30 hours per week).

Every person coming to sign up must bring:

• ID for everyone living in their household (any form of ID is acceptable - social security card, birth certificate, picture ID, etc)
• Proof of address (any piece of mail is acceptable)
• Proof of income (including food stamps, TANF, social security, pay stubs, etc)
• Gift ideas for all the children in the home
  
• If signing up on a Full Time Working Parent day, we also require a pay stub that shows more than 30 hours per week

This newly updated edition includes informational listings for 264 Agencies, 108 Support Groups, 88 Hotlines and Helplines, and the Boone County Public Schools.
