Donors support this event by purchasing raffle tickets for $10 each. These donations make the picnic possible, providing an evening filled with holiday spirit for someone in need. They also support VAC's programs and services AND enter the donor into a prize drawing!
The grand prize this year is two Season Passes to the 2009 "Hot Summer Nights" at the Missouri Theatre. Other prizes include tickets to the University Concert Series' holiday shows, a framed historical print of downtown Columbia, and gift certificates to Sparky's Ice Cream, Pickleman's Deli, Shakespeare's Pizza, Bambino's Italian Cafe, and Hacienda Perdomo Spa.
If you would like to purchase tickets or help at the picnic, please call VAC at 874-2273.
All you have to do is give this flyer to the cashier after you order your meal, and Fuddruckers will donate 10% of your total bill to the Voluntary Action Center!
It couldn't be simpler - just bring the flyer and enjoy a great meal!

Christmas In July
Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa Claus is coming to town...but, in the summer? Yes! It's time for Christmas In July! The purpose of this event is to raise awareness that low-income individuals need assistance throughout the year, not just during the holiday season. The Christmas in July celebration will provide a picnic meal for hundreds of low-income families on July 15, with the help of community donations.
